        Hemp is a plant that has been cultivated since 8,000 BC and its precious textile fiber has crossed civilizations, eras and customs: the Romans, The Middle Ages, Renaissance and the modern world.<\/p>\n

        In the early 1940s, Italy was the second largest producer of hemp fabrics in the world after Russia and the first in terms of quality.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner animation=”animation bottom-to-top” offset=”vc_col-lg-4″][vc_column_text]Thus, Veneto is the most important territory for the cultivation and manufacturing of hemp, and in Monticello Conte Otto (VI) the Canapificio Roi makes itself known throughout Europe.<\/p>\n
